All our wines are made solely from grapes grown at Minko – our family farm in Mount Compass
We currently grow Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Savagnin, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Our philosophy is simple: grow excellent fruit in a healthy vineyard, pick the grapes at their best and minimise intervention in the growing and winemaking process. The objective is to let the quality of the grapes speak for itself.

The best of our estate grown Cabernet and Merlot have been blended to produce a rich palate of sweet berry fruits that ooze palate weight and finishes with soft tannins. This inky wine is dense and brooding with black fruits, spice and aniseed.

The cool maritime climate of Mt. Compass on the Fleurieu Peninsula and the glacial sands over limestone provide an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir. This Pinot has been picked at the optimum baume for balanced alcohol content to produce a vibrant palate with smooth tannins. The nose is of red cherries, lychee and strawberries with floral notes.
Enjoy with highly flavoured Mediterranean dishes such as pizza and pasta but also matches grilled meaty fish such as salmon & tuna and is perfect with roast duck.
A deep, dark red colour, this wine has aromas of fig, black olive, beetroot and a touch of game. The palate shows ripe fruit with a touch of mint. Beautifully integrated tannins that support the wine without being dominant.
The fruit for this Cabernet was estate grown on glacial sands over ironstone. The long ripening period produced fruit of outstanding quality. This wine will enhance rich meat dishes.
Toasty, oaky aromas combine with fig and fruit salad, creating a complex nose. The palate is toasty french oak combined with rockmelon and white peach.
The cool climate conditions during ripening produced grapes with intense flavour and acidity. The fruit was gently pressed then fermented in French oak for only 3 months, producing a style which is light and fresh,and has enjoyed some aging.
Enjoy with zesty salads, seafood and Asian dishes. Chill before serving.
Aromas of grapefruit, warm bread cooking and citrus blossom. The palate is dry, crisp and clean with lemon, lime, shortbread and a hint of honey.
This Blanc-de-blancs cuvee is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes selected from our premium cool climate vineyard at Mount Compass, and hand made using the traditional Champagne method of re-fermenting in the bottle where it has matured on lees for 2 years.
Sealed with a crown seal to retain quality.
Black-fruit medley aromas with a beautifully integrated vanillin oak framework. A refreshing medium bodied palate dominated by blackcurrants and dark cherries. A luscious mouth feel with a clean finish, displaying velvety tannins.
Excellent as an aperitif or with a rich dessert, and a favourite with the Christmas ham or turkey. Serve chilled.
After maturing in French & American oak for 12 months the merlot undergoes secondary fermentation with the addition of yeast and sugar, producing this soft, generous sparkling wine with a velvet texture and a gorgeous, dark, ruby red colour.
This wine develops with age.
